 Our average annual Salmon and Grilse catch over the last 5 seasons is 18.

 SUMMARY OF SEASON 2024

​

 Despite low catch figures in comparison with a decade ago and the regularly decent   years, in terms of numbers, prior to that, there are grounds for optimism - 100% increase

 on last season and 400% on 2022!.  In addition, the "fishing effort" in respect of Salmon   was low.  This factor, combined with reports of the Don fishing well this season, indicates 

 our catch figure could have been considerably higher.

 

 The Brown Trout fishing on the Castle Forbes water continues to hold the fishing focus and

 provide excellent sport to our anglers.
